Esomeprazole 40mg comes in the form of tablets and capsule. It belongs to a group of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors. The manufacturer of the medicine may vary.  The medicine helps in reducing the acid from your stomach. The medicine helps in the treatment of GORD (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease). It also helps in treating ulcer, inflammation and bacteria in stomach. The medicine contains an active ingredient of esomeprazole. The medicine may interact with the enzymes of CYP2C19 inhibitor. The medicine also helps in the rare illness caused by tumor in the pancreas. The combination with naproxen helps reducing inflammation and pain in the muscles. It helps in reducing the stomach acid by blocking proton pump. The medicine is quite unsuitable for a person having liver problem, kidney problem or allergic to the medicine. Use and dosage
